La Microwinerie - Narcisse 2024

La Microwinerie's Narcisse is a captivating organic Bordeaux white, with Jurançon origins, made from the 60% Gros Manseng and 40% Petit Manseng grapes. Maxime treks down to the Pyrenees to select the finest grapes from an all organic partner vineyard and begins the vinification in an old army barracks on the right bank of the Garonne, just over the right from the centre of Bordeaux.

On the nose, it offers honey, citrus & white flowers, whilst on the palate the honey and floral notes continue with a beautiful hint of passionfruit. It has a fresh finish to properly round out this well-balanced wine. This unconventional cuvée undergoes eight months of French oak aging. The result is a complex, layered wine that defies expectations—a true expression of artisanal winemaking that rewards curious drinkers seeking something a little different.

Goes with Pyrenean favourites like Ossau Iraty, as well as asparagus dishes. 

Contains a small amount of sulphites added at bottling.
