Domaine Valentin Piquereaux - MVP Petit Verdot Cabernet 2022

MVP Petit Verdot Cabernet is an organic Bordeaux (AOC) red wine, composed of 60% Petit Verdot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, an unusual combination from traditional Bordeaux grapes. This wine undergoes 8 months of stainless-steel maturation. It is a deeply intense ruby colour, with violet hues. On the nose it is refined and fresh, with notes of mint, liquorice and pepper, complemented by stone fruit, dark fruits and wild strawberry. On the palace it is soft and fruit-driving,  with fine, well-coated tannins. The finish is fresh and this is overall a well-balanced wine.

This is an easy drinking red, which would pair beautifully with a ratatouille or a stew.
