Domaine de Combet - Premices 2023

Domaine de Combet's Prémices is a distinctive treasure of a dry white from Monbazillac that defies regional convention. Made from organic Sauvignon Gris (60%), Sauvignon Blanc (20%), Sémillon (10%) and Chenin Blanc (10%), each variety spends 9 months maturing in French oak barrels before being assembled carefully by the David and Matthieu to create a truly elegant wine with remarkable complexity and depth. On the nose, expect punchy white fruit and on the palate it offers peach, apricot and honey with a wonderful fullness and roundness and a lengthy finish. 

A wine of presidential calibre (literally), it's ready to drink now yet will continue to evolve gracefully over the next five years. It works brilliantly with meat dishes, smoked salmon, mushrooms, and mature cheeses.

Contains a small amount of sulphites added at bottling.
