Domaine de Combet - Insolite 2022

Insolite is a lively & fruity organic Monbazillac (AOC) sweet wine. Monbazillac is famed for its dessert wines, and this cuvée is a fresh take on a classic. It is a blend of Sémillon and Sauvignon Gris grapes which are hand-picked before they are completely covered by "noble rot" and undergoes vinification & aging in stainless steel for 15 months. On the nose, it offers stone fruits (apricot and peach in particular) & a hint of exotic fruit such as pineapple, whilst on the palate it provides freshness and sweetness whilst maintaining its fruitiness.

Insolite would work well as a fresh and sweet apéritif or as a dessert wine, but also pairs well with fruity puddings.

Contains a small amount of sulphites added at bottling. 

12.5% ABV
