An exceptional Monbazillac organic sweet wine, composed of a blend of Sémillon and Muscadelle. The grapes are hand-harvested, with all of them being fully botrytised (\u003cem\u003enoble rot\u003c\/em\u003e) by the time they are harvested. This reduces the water content in the grapes and concentrates the delicate flavours. \u003cem\u003eElixir\u003c\/em\u003e then undergoes a full 30 months of aging in French oak barrels.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eOn the nose it offers a heady mix of yellow fruits and quince, which develops to candied pineapple and dessicated coconut following aeration. On the palate the candied fruits continue, with honey, beeswax and a spectacular fullness complemented with some acidity to ensure it's not sickly.
